Flunking a test begins far before the actual test is taken. There are several things that need to be done or avoided, otherwise there is still a chance that you will pass. Follow these steps and failure is ensured.
Step One:
Step one is to make sure you do not pay attention in class. Paying attention has the possibility that information could be retained and should be avoided at all costs. If this is too difficult, the next option is to simply skip class, as it is impossible to pay attention if you are not there.
Step Two:
Step two is to avoid doing homework. This will have the same effect as not paying attention with the added bonus of a lower grade in the class overall.
Step Three:
The third thing to remember when flunking a test is not never talk to anyone about class. Even if there are no notes to tempt you to study after not paying attention in class, talking about class could force the information into your head anyway.
Step Four:
Step four occurs the night before the test. Make sure that you get no sleep so that the day of the test you are too tired to even write your name on the paper. If staying up is not an easy thing for you, try some methods used by test flunkers all over the world, such as drinking beverages high in sugar and caffeine, playing video games, watching midnight television marathons, or even, if none of these things are available, reading a book all night. If reading a book though, make sure it is neither the text book for the class nor any other book on the subject of the test. This is known as all-night cramming, and although it is a rather ineffective study technique, it is still studying, and those who excel at flunking tests will tell you that studying of any kind is bad for flunking.
Step Five:
Step five is the day of the test. Be sure to come unprepared for class, leaving all materials needed for the test safely at home. This is not a guaranteed method, since some teachers will provide you with their copy of your forgotten materials, but it is still an important step in your test failure.
Step Six:
Step six is to put an answer for every question. This may seem like it would lead towards the dreaded passing of the test, but if done correctly it will seal your flunk. For essay questions, ramble on about absolutely anything but the essay topic. If a question is skipped altogether, there is a chance that the teacher will have you answer it at another time, an by then you may have learned the material. For multiple choice, put all the same letter answer. Some will be correct, but most should be wrong. Follow these steps exactly for sure test failure. =D
